Tim R. Randolph, PhD, MT(ASCP)

Dr. Randolph is Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center and been a faculty since 1987. He received his bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of Illinois at Springfield, formerly Sangamon State University, in Springfield, Illinois in 1983.  He was subsequently employed as a medical technologist at Memorial Medical Center, also in Springfield.  Tim earned his Master of Science in Medical Technology from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1987 with an emphasis in clinical hematology and experimental immunology.  He earned a PhD in Hematology from Warnborough College in Wichlow, Ireland in 2008. Dr. Randolph currently teaches and coordinates courses in hematology, hemostasis and thrombosis, and research methods for MLS and PA students.  He conducts research and publishes in the areas of hematology and hemostasis and is a frequent presenter at local, state and national levels.  Dr. Randolph is Founder and President of Randolph World Ministries, Inc., a Christian-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, medical mission ministry operating in Haiti and is active in the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) at the state, regional and national levels
